Los Angeles Times sportswriter Mike Penner has died.
Penner, who spent over 20 years as a sportswriter for the L.A. Times, was found dead in his home on Saturday. He was 52.
Suicide was the suspected cause of death.
In 2007, Penner announced that he was transsexual and began writing under the byline Christine Daniels. In 2008, he began writing as Mike Penner once again.
